In order to request a dog, please send us a letter on department letterhead to PO Box 187, Haw River, NC 27258, detailing your department’s needs. That’s pretty much it! We try to keep paperwork to a minimum. You are welcome to call us if you have any questions (336) 578-8538. Leave a message (we’re probably out training) and we will return your call as soon as possible.

We do our best to “build” a dog for every departments unique needs. This means that we take each department’s requests into consideration and make sure that the dog they get is one that meets those requirements. For example, if a department is in a large urban area, we will concentrate on more training in downtown urban areas. If a department is more rural, we will spend less time in areas with heavy traffic.
