Gracie and Corporal Rik Vaughn work for the Henry County, Virginia Sheriff's Office. They are making a huge difference on criminal tracks. When called out on a criminal track, their success rate is over 90 percent. Corporal Vaughn and Gracie finally got called out on their first missing persons case. Two hunters had gotten lost in the woods and previous attempts to locate them were unsuccessful. Rik and Gracie tracked them off the seat of their truck and found them safe, several miles away. Rik has since been promoted to Sergeant--he accepted the promotion only after he was reassured that he would still be handling Gracie.
